July 19, 2011
Hooray we get to do another program about dance! Yes, you can join us for a chat with Michelle Thompson, a dancer for Ballet Austin in Austin, Texas. She dances classical and modern ballet and is also very sweet and, a new mom. She danced (not performed) right up until the end! Of her pregnancy, I mean. In fact she very nicely loaned me a link to a YouTube here of her doing a pirouette at 35 weeks! We also have another guest or two but I am not at liberty to disclose their identity right now. Plus, there’s news, a quiz and I fall into a world without…hey, why not click the little arrow above and find out for yourself! Remember, it’s completely additive free!

Episode 32, Priscilla
July 18, 2011
Episode thirty-two is just below there, right behind that little arrow. It’s hiding there. If you don’t believe me, go ahead, click that little arrow and see what happens. What did I tell you, ha! Now you can sit back and join us as we delve into the world of ghostwriting. Yes, ghostwriter Priscilla Barton joins us to discuss her craft. She’s currently working on a non-fiction mystery, so we’ve taken up that theme and played a bit mysteriously ourselves. Yes, there are clues to the sound quiz hidden in the show (meaning I say something pertinent to the quiz answer or may even say the actual answer in some passing way). So you might want to keep your ears open start to finish, not that you would ever miss a golden word anyway. Also, we have another guest come by, there’s news about the future and Mikie lets you in on a private moment! This is the kind of thing we wait for our whole lives! Was that too strong? Okay, we wait for these moments at least a day or two! Thanks for tuning in!

July 18, 2011
Episode thirty-one! They exclaimed. It’s an exclamatory remark! Okay, I’m calm now. Join us for a discussion with Dr. Michael Miles, a practitioner of naturopathic medicine. This branch of medicine takes a holistic approach to healing, using herbs, other natural substances and lifestyle to maintain health before resorting to pharmaceuticals. Very interesting. I think someone else stops by but I wouldn’t want to ruin it for you. There’s something strange in the news, we have a quiz and Mikie has to read something really tiny! Why not make it an extra sugar day and join the fun!

Episode 30, Charla
July 18, 2011
Episode thirty, holy mackerel! Thirty is a lot if you’re counting episodes (not so much when counting bacteria but we’re not counting bacteria today). Why not join the celebration with me and my guest school superintendent Charla Argo-Wright. She is wonderful and has really interesting ideas about education. Plus, she implements those ideas in Hoonah, Alaska an island community of just over 800 mostly native people. This place is only reachable by boat or plane. And our friend, well, should I tell? No, he said, why ruin the surprise, but we do have an unannounced guest and find a little red box and there’s a quiz and some news and a sound play and I’m going for the record for the most instances of the word “and” in a sentence! I think it’s a good show, I hope you like it!

I know an unexpected guest will drop by, they always do, don’t they? Plus there’s a quiz, some news and Mikie talks about, um, waving? I think it’s a good show and it cleans without messy build up!

Did you know there might be a negative curvature surrounding us that we can’t see? We find out about that and other interesting things during our conversation with research mathematician Fionntan Roukema. He is currently living in Italy so we can all fantasize about that as well. We thought about running a contest as to how to pronounce his name but soon realized that you’ll probably listen to this episode and find out anyway, so… Plus, I think someone stops by, there’s a quiz, some news and Mikie recalls a childhood fantasy.
